Something about striped tees

Whether it’s their innate French allure or the playful character they bring to an outfit, striped tees are a must in a man’s closet

There are so many different references that can be attached to the humble thin-striped T-shirt: from Breton fishermen to prisoner uniforms and the US flag, from French revolutionaries to the mime outfit of Marcel Marceau…

Generally speaking, though, it exudes an exquisitely French allure, especially when it comes to the fashion world, where it has been an obsession and a statement for so many iconic designers and brands all the way from Jean Paul Gaultier to Petit Bateau.

One thing’s for sure: the striped tee is inherently cool and never out of style. Ubiquitous in street fashion since forever, it occasionally comes back to the catwalk just to re-affirm its timeless, everlasting charm, worthy of even the most sophisticated outfit.

This summer, dress it up with a pair of classic trousers in matching color tones of go casual with a nice pair of chinos and a denim jacket.

Meet the SS22 PT striped tee: thin horizontal lines and pastel colors almost merging with the white stripes.
